According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC):
If you are traveling to Guatemala: To avoid measles, take MMR vaccine. This is recommended for all travelers. All travelers should take routine vaccines such as diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis vaccine, varicella (chickenpox) vaccine, polio vaccine, and your yearly flu shot. Hepatitis A and Typhoid vaccine are also recommended. Vaccines and medications for Hepatitis B, malaria, rabies, and yellow fever are recommended for some travelers. Foods that are not recommended:
