If your child is taking in-person classes, you should do the following:
- Check in with your child each morning for signs of illness. If your child's tempature is 100.4 degrees or higher, he or she should not go to school - Make sure your child does not have sore throat or other signs of illness (cough, severe headache, diarrhea, vomitting, body aches, etc.) - If your child has had close contact with someone who has COVID-19, they should not go to school - Get your child tested for COVID-19, if possible - Make your child aware about the importance of washing their hands - Make sure your child drinks enough water during the day - Make sure your child follows the COVID-19 precautions (wearing a mask, washing hands, distancing from others, etc.) - Consider asking your child's school administrators and teachers about the COVID-19 precautions they plan on taking - Make sure your child knows the importance of taking the precautions Click the link below for more information. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/community/schools-childcare/parent-checklist.html
